An equine artist once complimented me on the way my images often conveyed a visceral connection with the horse. It is a fine compliment, and I'll take it. However, the truth is that it often requires a team to focus and engage our equine subjects.

Consistently making compelling images requires hard work, combined with a huge amount of awe and respect for our subject partners.  We are grateful when fortune smiles and a glimpse of spirit gleams back at us through the lens.
