Matthew Boyd

Matthew Boyd is an award-winning children’s book author and illustrator. Inspired by the experiences of his family and friends, his writing is endearing and his illustrations are colorful and fun. His stories explore life changes (dealing with siblings, losing a tooth), adventures (let’s jump into a rainbow!), and silly questions (What do cows do when no one is looking? What can you make from this line?).

Matthew’s writing and illustrations encourage readers to explore the world from a new perspective, sparking creativity in little ones and adults alike. His books gently encourage positive character traits, family roles, and the joys of imagination and exploration. His latest book, “What Could It Be?”, explores how a simple line can transform into so many different creations.

In addition to being an author and illustrator, Matthew owns Evoke Design, a creative agency. He is an alumnus of Western Kentucky University and lives his wife and two daughters in Atlanta, Georgia.
