American author Leon Kelly, Jr. presents his latest thought provoking book 'Satan is Here. God is Coming!'.
Former educator Leon Kelly, Jr. is a native of Swainsboro, Georgia and this is where he currently resides. Leon was born in 1967 and grew up with his family of three brothers, two sisters and his mother sharing their home together. Leon’s early years were challenging, but gave him the foundation of life experience he has today and enabled him to pass on what he has learned since growing through these human experiences. His early years spent with his family, especially his grandmother, influenced his life and the goals he wished to accomplish. He says his Grandmother’s actions taught him about God at a young age.
Leon’s challenges didn't hold him back. After leaving the Navy, Leon furthered his own education through years of studying. A series of varied jobs and deciding to write his memoirs 'Surviving Darkness' are what eventually set Leon on his determined path of achieving his second publication, 'Satan is Here. God is Coming!'. Leon’s natural warmth emanates from his latest book; his interest in spirituality clear for all to see.
After graduating from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Childhood Education, Leon continued learning. He attended graduate studies at Mercer University where he majored in Middle Grades Education. He studied Business Management at Savannah State University and has taken classes in filmmaking and screenwriting. Leon is a lifelong student who believes that his most valuable education has come from his own varied, colorful and challenging life experiences, including homelessness and the loss of one of his brothers at just twenty-one years of age. A strong Christian faith has inspired Leon to continue inspiring others and 'spreading the word of God to anyone who’s willing to hear it.' He is excited to continue to explore his creative side, also.
Currently Leon owns KellyHead Multimedia and KellyHead Publishing Group. He continually gathers inspiration from his own active lifestyle, the people he meets, his faith and his other interests. Some of his many sources of inspiration are filmmaking, screenwriting, cooking, baking, working on books and film projects among other things; but he is most interested in spreading the word of God.
The primary message of his book is: 'Know who Satan is, but focus on God.'
