Robert B. Marks

Robert B. Marks wears many hats, most often a fedora. He is an author, writer, editor, and researcher. He holds a Master of Arts in War Studies, along with a Bachelor's in Medieval Studies and another Bachelor's in English Literature.

Robert made his first professional sale with Diablo: Demonsbane (Pocket Books, 2000), and followed it up with Garwulf's Corner - one of the first, if not the first, computer games issues columns to appear on the Internet. He then wrote The EverQuest Companion for Osborne/McGraw-Hill (2003).

It was in 2007 that he founded his publishing company, Legacy Books Press. He has since co-authored A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Agora (with R. Drew Griffith), an exploration of ancient humour that is now in its second edition, and published the collected Garwulf's Corner in print at last. His new project is The Eternity Quartet, with Ed Greenwood.

When he's not writing, editing, publishing, and doing other book-related things, Robert enjoys swordplay (with real longswords), playing the violin (badly), playing Magic: the Gathering, and is even an amateur magician.

Robert lives in Kingston, Ontario, with his wife.
