Bill Ogden

Bill Ogden was born on November 9, 1938, in Lynchburg, Virginia along with his twin brother, Bob. They both graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Va. Tech.) in Blacksburg Virginia with degrees in 1960 and 1962. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1990. He retired from Verizon Data Services in Tampa Florida in 1999 but worked parttime as an Income Tax Advisor for H&R Block until 2019. In 2014, after reading his father's life stories, Bill wrote and self-published his father's biography entitled "A Life of Determination and Love". In 2018, Bill wrote and self-published a mystery novella based in North Carolina entitled "Heaven or What?" and he has now written and self-published a second novella entitled "Paradise or What?". These books are part of his series called Dangerous Encounters, involving three main characters; Raymond, Stella, and Chuck. Bill lives in Brandon, Florida with his wife, Patricia, and they are longtime members of First Presbyterian Church of Brandon. They raised three sons and currently have seven grandchildren.
