As an educator, Nancy K. Arnold spent three decades in the classroom. Though now retired, she devotes much of her time to doing author visits in schools with her children’s books, as well as presenting historical/patriotic programs at civic organizations. Three of her children’s books have received awards, including The Will Rogers Medallion Award, the Arizona Glyph Award, and the Purple Dragonfly Award for Excellence in Children’s Literature. She has also been recognized by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution for her contributions to children’s literature, and presented with their Women in the Arts Award. A native of Texas, Nancy and her husband now reside in Arizona.
