John Rowe

I started my career in television as a film researcher,and am very proud to be one of the Emmy Award winning team behind the internationally acclaimed series The World at War. I later became Head of Programmes and Production at a major network company. During my forty five years in television I also produced and directed many shows - documentaries,entertainment shows,music productions,comedy,and children's television. It was whilst working on children's shows,that I decided to extend my knowledge of the genre into book form. I found it very satisfying to educate children,but in a fun and entertaining way. As a result of this I wrote my first book - Little Stories for Little People. This was followed by The Casebook of Inspector Sniffabout. My books are written to allow children to contribute,by working out the little problems or mysteries that each story contains,and to see if they can work out how they think the story will end. As well as being available as books,I'm also very pleased that they are available as MFE's - multi format e-books.

The Casebook of Inspector Sniffabout will become a series of books. Book two is with the publishers - sbpra.com and should be published later this year.
