Shane Barr

Shane Barr lives in Orlando, Florida with her husband, Dr. Carl Barr, and their teenaged daughter, Erica. Shane and her daughter share a love of various fandoms: Dr. Who, Sherlock, Harry Potter, and of course, the Vlogbrothers. It’s this love of Nerdfighteria that drove Shane to write her first young adult, sci-fi, action and adventure novel, Reset.

Shane serves on the board of directors for The Be Brave Foundation, a Central Florida charity that focuses on serving the financial needs of families with children fighting cancer. A portion of the proceeds from Reset will be donated to Be Brave. In addition to her philanthropic endeavors, Shane is an artist, a photographer, and a poet.
