Chasity Strawder is a a native of Southeast Arkansas, but she has been a resident of the Midwest for about 20 years. She went to college in Oklahoma and later moved to Michigan to begin a career as an elementary teacher. After seven years, Chasity resigned from her teaching position to take care of her family full-time. Her intention wasn't really to publish a book, but to simply journal her feelings about enduring a long, traumatic experience from the pregnancy and birth of her youngest son, Joshua. After writing for a few days, Chasity knew that her journey needed to be shared with those who have lost hope in the midst of life's struggles. Her first book, Broken For The Promise, was born at that very eye-opening moment. Chasity has plans to continue her mission of sharing hope and healing with the world through other books in the future.
