My grandson and great-niece begged me to write chapter books for their age group (8-11) so I did but I still love writing drama filled romance. Mystery. A lot of small town, feel good stories sometimes with a hint of paranormal like ghosts. Historical Fiction. Witches that can conjure. Native American history. Whatever captures my imagination.

I'm just a small town girl who has always loved to read. That love of reading turned into creating stories of my own. For years I've horded manuscripts on my laptop. A few years ago I was laid off from my job as a computer geek (formal title is Project Manager). I decided to break them out and dust them off. I started writing again and I published the first one in October 2014.

A few months later I started telling my friends and family. It's one thing to put your heart and soul out there in front of strangers; it's another to bear your soul to your family and friends. They were all very supportive and continue to be so.

I also paint and draw. Would like to do sculpting and pottery again someday. Kilns aren't handy in a condo.

I have a beautiful daughter and two grandsons we have nicknamed G-Baby and the Shredder. A new son-in-law and two more grandbabies have been added to the mix but they haven't acquired nicknames yet. A little girl so I now get to buy beautiful dresses. I love them all dearly. Another grandson is coming in March 2018. I think they are done unless they decide to adopt. Chaos and craziness describes their brood but filled with so much love.

My husband Bill has been around a while. My sister and my two best friends are my marketing and encouragement. They are what keeps me writing plus June, my sister's mother-in-law.

She can't wait for my next novel. I can't write fast enough for June.

Then we have our four legged babies, Dixie and Koda. You see a lot of them on my Instagram page along with the grandkids.
