Marc Feuermann

Fascinated by nature, Marc Feuermann never lost his child's gaze, a naive look that still allows him to marvel at the beauty, but also the complexity, of the world surrounding him. Holding a PhD in molecular biology, he studies the life sciences since twenty years in order to better understand its operation and its origin. Interested in science in general, he has since a young age developed a special passion for planetary science. From science to science fiction there is only a small step that he has not hesitated to cross, imagining the Universe of Urgaïa, a futuristic universe in which mankind is living on the fascinating worlds revealed by space probes sent to conquer the universe. It is also a realistic universe in which men are subject to the laws of nature, men whose fundamental nature has unfortunately not changed, even if they eventually master the technology to colonize the solar system. His first novel, "The Last Voyage of the Albatross", was published by Éditions Dédicaces in spring 2011. An English version will be published in 2015. "The tutors of Urgaïa", the second part of this epic of mankind on the Ice Worlds, followed a year later. The third part of the series, "The Impeded Worlds" will be published during 2015.
