Personal interests: For a number of years, I was the "chief cook" at home and practiced innovation by challenging myself to create at least one new dish to offer whenever we invited guests to our home.

I have spent a lifetime discovering ways to "be present" as a human being, and feel like the journey is just beginning. What an exciting, inspiring journey it has been!

I realize now that we all seek inspiration. The diversity of our interests and values makes our world fascinating - and occasionally frustrating, when we try to impose our values on others. At the same time, the contrast, the contradictions and paradoxes drive our creativity.
