James D. Holt

James D. Holt is Associate Professor of Religious Education at the University of Chester. Prior to this he was a secondary school Religious Education teacher working in many different roles including Advanced Skills Teacher and working for the QCA as a Regional Subject Adviser. James is the Chair of Examiners for Religious Studies with one of the major awarding organisations. He is the author of books in the areas of education, religious education, and aspects of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He holds a PhD in Theology from the University of Liverpool where his thesis focussed around constructing a Latter-day Saint theology of religions.
