T.K. McLennon

T.K. McLennon’s experience traveling to 18 and living in five different countries equipped her to get by in four languages and showed her how to march straight past fear and into passion. Inspired by the ancient art of storytelling, her latest journey involves collecting stories from people you don’t usually hear from, in their own voices.

She hopes to share her discovery that getting out of your own backyard can make you a richer human being and not just financially; experiencing different cultures coupled with reflection creates space for true learning. She believes living abroad eases personal, spiritual, intercultural and even professional understanding in an increasingly globalized world—where power now tilts eastward.

Toronto-born T.K. McLennon is a former assistant professor in the school of International Studies at a university in South Korea, and a former instructor of Global Management Studies at a Toronto-based University. She is also the founder of Culturiousity.com
