David J. Gibbs

Award winning author David J. Gibbs was born and raised in the greater Cincinnati area. The oldest of three, he protected his younger brother and sister from neighborhood bullies and the monsters under their beds. Never losing touch with the wonder and terror of childhood, he continues to push the limits of imagination with his stories.

His middle-grade series Mad Maggie Dupree is a hit with all ages, book five and six due out in the coming year.

With over seventy short fiction titles published in the last four years, his work has appeared in dozens of magazines and anthologies, including; 'Shadows of Salem', 'Dark Monsters', 'Stores from the Near-Future', 'Hidden in Plain Sight', 'Massacre Magazine', 'Under the Bed', 'Sanitarium Magazine' and 'Double Feature Magazine'.
