Thomas Rose

I find it hard to write about myself as a wonderful painter or poet. But I will tell you, I am very proud to have been asked to host The Bully Effect, Blog talk radio show( simulcast on Star 95.1 The Heart of New York with host Penny Jean). Penny Jean asked me to guest host the hour long show on 10-6-2014, and read my poetry to over 6 Million People for National Bully Prevention Day. I will also tell you that I am very proud of my book " The Art Of Thomas Rose " it is a good book, written from the heart. I have been busy and excited, to be working on book #2. To give you an example of book #2 I was moved by the death of one of my favorite poets Maya Angelou. I think of Maya Angelou like I think of Pablo Picasso, a Master of her Art. The day Maya Angelou died I wrote this poem in her honor, it has become one of my favorite poems.

MAYA

Her skin of bronze, Her heart of gold, Her voice of silken silver

Her words are gentle and kind

Her words are strong and powerful

Her words are loving and understanding

She is my Maya, My inspiration, My wonderful poem
