Dani Evans studies Romance-ology where she travels abroad many fictitious places and lives in the hearts of countless heroines and heroes. She experiences the greatest love stories, heartbreaks, high levels of angst, and scorching seductions. All adventures have been, thus far, rather... orgasmic! She hopes her characters will bring the same joy to the romance community as so many Indie and traditionally published authors have given her.

Reading enlightens all of our worlds and is the greatest escape from the daily stresses of life.

They say the quiet shy girls are the best kind of friends to have. I've always considered myself a loyal friend, never dating any of my best friend's boyfriends.

How has that changed, or better yet, why? My dearest friend, Sandy, is dating Kolby Ryan, one of the finest men to walk this earth. He's sinfully gorgeous, soccer star, ringleader of the Kappa Alpha Omega at UC Berkeley, and a total player. Or, was a total player, until he hitched up with Sandy.

For some god-forsaken reason, I seem to be drawn to him. Maybe it's the way he looks at me when Sandy isn't paying attention. Maybe it's the way he brushes up against me when he's walking by. Quite possibly, it's the words he whispers in my ear after backing me into a secluded corner.

I'm obsessed with Kolby Ryan. And he's dating my best friend. I refuse to be the cause of their break up, but I'm hoping against all odds that they will part ways. After all, Sandy doesn't deserve him. I know for a fact she's cheating on him. Doesn't matter that she does it because she feels insecure with Kolby. Doesn't matter that she suspects his heart is with someone else, right?

Wrong.

EXCERPT

I am the Midnight Ryder, a man plagued by sin, a soul searching for something foreign, what others call love, a feeling I've never experienced. My shame, another foreign nag, has my head completely f***ed. My only escape from life, from my disastrous thoughts, comes at midnight, when the dark of night covers my sins.

The only light is that of the streetlamps whizzing by in streaks as I race along the deserted streets of the city on my motorcycle. My only torment is her, the woman who jogs along my path, reminding me of the person I likely destroyed not long ago.

I want to warn her of the danger she puts herself in night after night. One evening, she finally stops long enough to stare me down. I heed her call.

This is our beginning. Or quite possibly, our fatal attraction, our destruction.
