Robert Thibodeau

Robert Thibodeau is a retired law enforcement supervisor; a former US Army Cavalry Officer and before that, he was also an enlisted soldier attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant and spent over three years on Drill Sergeant status! During his Drill Sergeant time, he logged more than 2,000 hours of platform instruction and was responsible for the training and supervision of over 1,000 basic trainees.

After military service, he was a successful entrepreneur in the life insurance industry. From starting as a salesman, in just five years time he had a sales force of 12 agents and three full time office staff and was operating the #2 agency office nationwide for his company. During this time, he used methods learned from his Drill Sergeant days to train his sales agents (minus the yelling and pushup, of course)! The success he achieved is proof his training techniques work!

After about six year of the life insurance business, he sold the office and moved on to his dream job of being a police officer. In just three years time, he was selected for supervisory rank (Corporal) and became responsible for subordinate officers while on patrol. Just two year later, he was promoted to Sergeant and became responsible for an entire shift of patrol officers and corporals. He utilized the same training techniques he used in the military and in business to train his officers. The result was having one of the most productive and proficient shifts in the entire agency. His officers usually out performed in all categories of law enforcement, with minimal disciplinary actions. Again, this proves his training techniques work.

Also during all of these business ventures, he surrendered to the call of ministry. He has been in some form or fashion of ministry since 1993, ordained in 2001. He was selected as the Chaplain for his departments Fraternal Order of Police and held that position until he retired in 2011.
