HERE'S MINE: HistoricalTorah@aol.com

For those unfamiliar with my writing, here are a few things I think may give you an idea whether I'm somebody you'd care to follow: I'm absolutely certain God is not afraid of what I think or have to say--and so, I hope you won't be either. I hate hate. From whatever dark side of our human spirit it seeks to nurture itself on those labeled "enemies," by trampling their equal right to freely appreciate this remarkable world, I shall delve into the genesis of that depravity, much as a physician searches for a malignancy to expose and make it vulnerable for obliteration. As a Jew who values his heritage, I know the difference between contempt for an individual who may be reprobate towards those outside his ethnicity, and the ascribing to that individual's entire community the egregious traits as if they are nature's characterization. That is why you shall find among my books those which discern the spirituality of Jesus' historical life alongside a more recent work, in the form of a legal brief, arguing the Gospels falsely accused the Jews of participating in his arrest, judgment, and crucifixion. Appearing in Times of Israel, my many articles have focused on Israeli rightwing injustice toward Palestinians. And, on the scholarly website, Academia.Edu, my papers have departed from standard Biblical interpretations of both Torah and New Testament stories.

My creds may help put me in “context.”

I have served as Director of Education for several synagogues and actively participated in the Manhattan Educators’ Council. My graduate studies at New York University’s Hagop Kevorkian Center focused on ancient Near Eastern religions and Biblical Judaism. I am a recipient of New York University’s Founders Award for academic accomplishment, and have a screen credit as Historical Consultant for The Seventh Sign starring Demi Moore. My books include, "The Historical Haggadah," "The Matthias Scroll," and "A Documented Biography of Jesus Before Christianity," and "The Matthias Scroll--Select Second Edition," subtitled, “Jesus’ life as he would have remembered it.” The work further unearths the historical events leading up to the crucifixion brought to light in the earlier edition of "The Matthias Scroll."

Most recently, "The Case Against the Gospels' False Accusation of the Jews," is a textual analysis of the passages which form the fabricated basis for ceremonially indicting the Jews as having orchestrated and reveled in the crucifixion of Jesus.
