Trisha Fisk

Years of juggling a farm, a family and a vet in the house, have armed Trisha with a sense of humour and compassion. And a lifetime of tales to tell.

She lives and works on the land in Northland New Zealand, happily, (most of the time] with her partner in the farming and family way, Alan.

Her three sons help with the land, and much of the menagerie. And with critiques.

Trisha has written three books.

Her first two are practical guides to help newcomers to the land enjoy farming. Practical Smallfarming in New Zealand, and Practical Organics for New Zealand Farmers(soon to be re-released as an e-book) on how to successfully convert a farm to organics.

Her latest, The Ballad, is an epic poem of the journey from North Cape to Cook Strait in New Zealand by 160 horses, 100 walkers, 50 bikers and about 70 volunteers as a fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis research.
