Harry G. Enoch

Harry G. Enoch is a native of Mt. Sterling, KY. He trained as a research biochemist (PhD, 1975, University of Kentucky). Served in the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam (1969-70). He held research and administrative positions with the Kentucky Energy Cabinet, East Kentucky Power Cooperative and UK, specializing in areas of environmental health. Since retiring he has focused on historic preservation, local history research and writing. Author of Women at Fort Boonesborough; African Americans at Fort Boonesborough; Crisis in the Wilderness, Capture and Rescue of the Boone and Callaway Girls, 1776; Pioneer Voices; and many others.
