I'm a writer who likes big ideas, globe-trotting, and historical conundrums. I write fiction--mostly fantasy--for middle grade and young adult readers. I grew up speaking Spanish at home (Guatemalan mom), and I'm especially interested in literature that thinks of "America" as a whole hemisphere. My novels focus on young adventurers who explore strange realms of the globe and the mind!
