Jo Webb is the pen name for this book. Jo Webb's married name was Jo Ann Conard. She worked for the Federal Government for 29 years and retired as a Contracting Officer at an Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 47 years old. She decided retirement was boring and worked at a local television station for 18 years. She retired as the News Busineess Manager the end of January 2007 at the age of 67. She has 2 grown daughters, 4 granddaughters, and 4 great-granddaughters. Jo re-married in June 2009 to a former high school classmate. They lived in Clevelnd, Tennessee. In December 2010, her husband of June 2009, started showing symptoms of dementia. He was tested by a Neurophyschologist and ultimately by a Neurologist. After numerous testing he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. This book shows his disease as it progresses from being lost in his own home to the point he was bedridden in a hospital bed in their living room. . She wrote this book to help caregivers going through this same experience.
