Amanda Marie Harding

A native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Amanda moved to FL (completely on her own, not knowing anyone!) right after she graduated high school. After graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2010 with a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Amanda founded an online business in Orlando, FL. She kept the online business running, started working for a Fortune 500 company and earned her MBA from the University of Miami.

Twelve weeks into maternity leave, she and her husband made the life-changing decision to quit her job and stay home with their daughter. As she often says, "I was very fortunate that my husband had a job that let me stay home and raise my children. It's what I dearly wanted to do."

Amanda self-published her first book, The Woman of the House, in 2013 shortly after her first child was born. Her goal with The Woman of the House, and subsequent books, has always been to give people an honest, vulnerable testimony of universal experiences.

Amanda, a suburb girl at heart, lives in FL on a twenty-acre farm with her husband, four children, a herd of cows, three ducks, a rabbit, two dogs, and a snarky cat. She dreams of turning a cluster of oak trees into a tree-house writing studio.

Amanda loves to participate and have conversations with all the wonderful families that have enjoyed her books.
