Brian Brunius is a renowned Reiki Master Instructor and the founder of NYC Reiki Center, one of New York’s leading schools dedicated to the traditional practice of Usui Shiki Ryoho. With over 30 years of experience, Brian has trained more than 4,500 students worldwide and is recognized for his unwavering commitment to preserving the original teachings and lineage of Reiki.
As an author, Brian shares his deep knowledge and passion for Reiki through his books, which make the profound wisdom and practical techniques of Reiki accessible to readers of all backgrounds. Since founding NYC Reiki Center in 2007, Brian has built a full-time professional practice and school in Manhattan’s Union Square, offering both private healing treatments and comprehensive training programs from beginner to Master level. He is also the founder of Reiki Centers of America, a nonprofit organization advancing Reiki education and community outreach.
Brian’s teaching is rooted in direct lineage to Hawayo Takata through John Harvey Gray, ensuring that students and readers alike benefit from authentic, traditional Reiki instruction.
