My first book uses my experience in psychological type to help job seekers, be they Introverts or Extraverts, in interviews, while networking, and during their job transition. The job transition process can be challenging. My goal is to help job seekers endure that process with more skill and grace and to land faster.
Simply put, I help adults play well with others--Introverts and Extraverts alike. I use tools like Myers-Briggs, Temperaments, and Interaction Styles to help people understand each other so that they can work--or interview or network--effectively together.
In a former life, I led technical writing teams with over 75 reviewers. I became fascinated by HOW I could get people to work well together and less interested in WHAT we were writing. I now use speaking, writing, and training to help adults get it that not everyone perceives the world or makes decisions the same way. We all can learn to flex our behaviors and adjust our interpretation filters so that these differences can become strengths intead of barriers. We all need to flex at times to be more effective.
As Dr. Otto Kroeger said, "I'm not asking you not to be who you are. I'm just asking you to manage it better." We all, myself included, need to manage ourselves better at times. I can help you with that.
