Michael Goldsmith

Hi: I am Michael D. Goldsmith I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in communications. I was widowed in 2007 when my bride of 32 years was taken in a head on collision. We were to leave the next morning to go to Myrtle Beach to celebrate. We had a great marriage and I quickly became very lonely. As a desperate new widower with no clue what I was doing, went on a christian dating sight. I ended up in a Small town 600 miles from home.

Because of how early it was in the process I was not to have a connection with her, but I had one with her son. He is Eli. Most of what you will read in Chapter one of Eli is based on those events. From Chapter 2 on the book is pure fiction.

My passion in life is to see people excel with the giftings God our Father through His Son by His Spirit gives his people. Eli shows what can happen when that does happen. I hope you enjoy Eli as much as I did writing it.
