Stephen Offutt

Stephen Offutt is a Professor of Development Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary. He has degrees from Boston University (PhD, Sociology), Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies (MA, International Affairs), and Wheaton College (BA, Political Science). His areas of specialty are sociology of religion, international development, transnationalism, gangs, Central America and southern Africa.
