Judith G. Dillingham

Judith Dillingham was born in California. At age seven the Dillingham family moved to India. She attended Woodstock School and reading became her favorite passtime. The primary school library at Woodstock School was a small room, tucked under a staircase. It wasn't open every day, but the days it was open were special for Judith. Here she sat on the floor reading all the fairy tales that the library contained.

Fairy tales have held a lifelong enchantment for her. During her adult life she worked as a teacher and librarian. She always managed to incorporate tales from around the world in her reading lessons, geography lessons, and any other related subject.

She ended her teaching career with a large collection of Cinderella stories from around the world. She used these books to teach about cultural differences.

Her fascination with fairy tales led her to speculate on what might have happened after the story ended. Hence her book, "After The Kiss".
