My desire in writing is simple: I want to help people read and understand the Bible for themselves. I don't write to give the reader a substitute for the Bible, but to encourage them to greater delight and discovery of what is there, in the text of Scripture. With advanced degrees in Bible and Theology, and experience in teaching and discipleship in church and para-church settings both in the States as well as in other parts of the world, I write to help you, the reader, see the treasure that is in store for you in the Bible.

My books are quite different from typical Bible studies. Like a guide in a museum they serve as an aid for you to see what is there in God's inspired Word.
