Jane Meyers

Jane Slater Meyers enjoyed a varied career in education as an elementary and Junior high school teacher in San Diego and then a reading, language arts coordinator and instructional leader at the San Diego County Office of Education. She originally wrote Halloween Stew for her grandchildren, but friends who read the story said it deserved a bigger audience.

Jane's background includes growing up with four brothers on Long Island in New York which prompted her love of laughter and whimsy. Each year Jane travels back to New York to visit family, friends and Broadway! She lives in San Diego with her husband Art and near to her two daughters, their delightful husbands and five grandchildren.
