Irene Danics

Irene Danics, an educator and adventurer, lived with her family in the Turks and Caicos Islands for many years, where she taught at a primary school. Wishing to share her love for the islands, together with fellow teacher Katie Hinks, she created the illustrated 'Explore the Turks and Caicos Islands' family guide, colouring and activity books. Later, inspired by her time in Antigua and Barbuda, Irene felt compelled to share the magic of these unique Caribbean islands with readers. She collaborated with Gemma Handy leading to the publication of 'Explore Antigua and Barbuda'. Now residing in Toronto, Irene's passion for travel, floral design, yoga, and biking continues to drive her exploration of new cultures and places.
