Karala Barendregt

Karala B is an artist and author from Sydney, Australia, who lives and works in the south of Austria. She has been an intrinsic part of the world bodypainting community since 1999 and has documented the growth of the art form and its leading artists as it is happening.

Her first three books were published privately through the World Bodypainting Association and Kryolan. Bringing Bodypainting to Life, 2008, Body Art Fashion, 2011 and Champion at Heart 2012.

Karala has performed as a model for body art around the world, has worked as an artist, been spokes person for the World Bodypainting Association at conventions and art shows, and has produced large stage shows for the World Bodypainting festival in Austria.
