Thomas William Irons was born in Utica, New York, apparently to an unwed mother that was hiding out from her family. In those days it was socially incorrect to have a baby out of wedlock. At an early age he was moved to Southern California where he was interned into a Catholic orphanage. In his fifth year of life adoptive parents adopted him and he became Larry Louis Momo. After graduating public high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in the Far East early in the Vietnam era. Upon his return to the states three years later, he graduated from Cerritos College and attended the University of Southern California. The death of his adoptive father was a life altering event, which lead him to a life rich in interesting situations and characters. His book draws upon those life experiences to tell the fictional stories of people who have passed through his life like shadows in the night. He now makes his home in Washington State.
