Born in London in November 1988 and had always been fortunate in things largely always having gone largely well throughout my life.
On the 1st of January 2010, I was not afforded the greatest start to the decade by incurring a very severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) on the 1st of January 2010 after being hit by a car beside the A406 (North Circular).
Although I've been forced to accept that having a severe brain injury shall always be a significant element of my life, it is now something that I am able to work around rather than through.
There is absolutely nothing positive to be taken from the event itself, only my prolonged yet writing about my unprecedentedly successful recovery process has allowed for me to launch my dream career of becoming a writer.
The first place that ever lived in was Tottenham, but then spent most of my childhood living in Barnet, North London. At aged 18 (in 2007), I went to study English and Politics at the University of York and after a prolonged leave of absence due to my injury I was able to graduate in 2013 with a BA 2.1.
Utilising our wealth of collective varied experiences and the different interpretations of different circumstances is what I believe that writing should largely be about. Contributing to this fabric is what I aspire to be able to achieve.
