Andy Brunning

Andy is a former chemistry teacher and chemistry education advisor who created the award-winning Compound Interest website. Compound Interest takes a closer look at the chemical compounds we come across on a day-to-day basis, explaining them with easy-to-understand graphics, including infographic projects with the Royal Society of Chemistry, The American Chemical Society and The Salters Institute amongst others. Andy won the 2025 American Chemical Society's James T. Grady-James H. Stack Award for Interpreting Chemistry for the Public.
