Jack H. Holmes

Jack H. Holmes was born in Palermo, California, the year before the crash of 1929, and grew up during the great depression with poor, but hard-working parents.

He completed his high school education at Oroville, California, and received his mechanical engineering education at the University of Santa Clara on a basketball scholarship. He worked for 44 years in the mechanical engineering field; 13 years for Food Machinery and Chemical Corporation (FMC), in San Jose, California, and Yakima, Washington; and from 1964, 31 years for Kwik Lok Corporation in Yakima, where he was Chief Engineer for 26 years. He received a number of design patents from both companies. He designed and has pattents on the plastic bag closures—on bread, potatoes, etc. Floyd designed the first two clips. See website: www.kwiklok.com

He accepted Jesus at a youth camp meeting in Santa Cruz, California, at the age of 11, and was baptized in the Feather River in Oroville, California. Nothing happened in either situation. In his mid-twenties he heard about the Holy Spirit during a Sunday morning service and the Lord told him to go home and look at Scriptures concerning Holy Spirit. When he read Acts 2:38-39 he told the Lord he wanted that if it was for him. About 3 weeks later he received the Holy Spirit in bed one night. He was a different person the next day. He started studying and praying a lot. Then the Lord told him to not read other peoples stuff, but let Him teach him. He have been faithful to that command for more than 65 years.

His third book is: JESUS-Son of God Son of Man- Jesus is our pattern-A commentary of the book of John. You will find northing like it today as far as He is aware of.
