Wang Yip

Wang is a blogger, self-published author, former management consultant, teacher, Distinguished Toastmaster and a non-fiction book fiend. His superpower is reading, absorbing and synthesizing ideas and sharing these in a digestible and practical way with others.

Wang's latest book, Essential Habits, is a distillation of the hundreds of non-fiction books, articles and online courses that he has 'absorbed' over the past two years and is full of nuggets and takeaways for the person that is interested in self help and personal development.

Wang has also published five books on public speaking, all based on his 10+ years of experience with Toastmasters, covering speech evaluations, creating speeches, speech delivery and impromptu speeches (i.e., table topics).

In his spare time, Wang enjoys playing badminton, scrabble / words with friends and working out to make sure that he can still fit into his pants. His favorite tool in the kitchen is a blender and he believes that you can blend almost anything into a smoothie (maybe even meat one day!).
