Bob Wyatt

Bob Wyatt writes, paints, but mostly fishes from his base at Middlemarch on the Taieri River, Otago. Since cutting his angling teeth on the freestone streams of southwestern Alberta in the 1950s, wild trout and everything about them has been pretty much a full-time preoccupation, apart from a 20 year stint as painting tutor at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland.

His writing on fly-fishing and related topics has appeared in Fly Fishing & Fly Tying (UK), Grays Sporting Journal, Fly Rod & Reel, and FlyLife magazine (AU).

His book Trout Hunting: The Pursuit of Happiness was published by Quiller/Swan Hill Press (UK), and Stackpole (US) in 2004.
