Jay Dee Simpson, born in Warrington in Cheshire, studied design and graphics at Manchester Polytechnic.
While living in Spain during the eighties, she developed a love of sculpture and upon returning to the UK, built and ran her own porcelain manufacturing business.
Jay Dee also worked for many years as a mgazine/book designer and art editor.
Following the early death of her husband, Jay Dee concentrated more on bringing up her children but has now returned to her first love - painting. The front cover of PRISONERS OF OUR OWN DEVICE is one of her erotic nude studies. Jay Dee has shown in London at the Landmark and National Gallery Summer Exhibition amongst other venues and has a Facebook page where visitors may enjoy her paintings.
