Lori Ostergaard

Lori Ostergaard is Professor and Chair of the Department of Writing and Rhetoric at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.

Her research interests include studies of contemporary college writing programs and majors. Her archival research investigates the history of composition-rhetoric at Midwestern normal schools and high schools, focusing primarily on the research, theories, and practices of educators working during the first three decades of the twentieth century.
