Dr. Bevan is an experimental psychologist who conducts biopsychology research on transsexualism and transgenderism. He held the rank of Professor and taught Biopsychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has developed biopsychology applications for the military including a telemedicine system for the U.S. Marine Corps to assist in the treatment of casualties of weapons of mass destruction and a biopsychology-based medical training system for which he won a U.S. Army Innovation award.
Dr. Bevan received a Ph.D. from Princeton University in Physiological Psychology and a B.A. from Dartmouth College, majoring in Experimental Psychology.
