Richard A. Hardy

Richard A. Hardy lives in the Upstate of South Carolina. He is a committed Christian who is concerned about the current state of affairs and direction of our nation. That concern inspired him to launch Leadership in Black and White, a leadership support and development ministry. He is passionate about leadership training and equipping. His main concern regarding today’s leadership are leaders who are not walking in a manner worthy of their calling.

Mr. Hardy is a graduate of the University of Alabama. He enjoyed a very successful twenty-seven year career in the healthcare industry. Twenty-three of those years were operating in various leadership roles. It was those different roles that gave him the experience and real-ization of the importance of leadership. This provided a great understanding of how the leadership role impacts people, their environments, and the institution. He also served his community by being appointed to two terms to the Greenville County Medical Examiners Commission by Governor David M. Beasley and Governor Jim Hodges.

In April 2017, he joined the Board of Directors for the Taylors Free Medical Clinic, Greer, South Carolina. It is a faith-based nonprofit institution dedicated to serving the community by delivering healthcare to those unable to afford it.

Mr. Hardy has also been the host of his own website and blog focusing on managerial leadership and transforming the workplace environment. His LinkedIn articles on the same subject matter have been read across the nation as well as several other countries.

Today, Mr. Hardy enjoys teaching biblical principles of leading and public speaking. He is continuing to answer God’s calling upon his life by becoming an independent author and leadership coach.
