Scott Brown

I am one of the many authors named Scott Brown, so please let me introduce myself to you in this personal bio - Wallace Winton "Scott" Brown came into this world being part of the tenth generation of Browns down the line from his expatriate family relations on board 'the second flotilla of sailing ships' following the Mayflower pilgrim group to the New World. It was this second trio of ships that brought Thomas Brown, born January 06, 1605 in Lavenham, Suffolk, England, across the Atlantic to settle in Massachusetts in the little burg of Sudbury where he commenced a long lineage of Brown Family descendants.

It is no surprise that 'a wanderlust traveler' was embedded deep in Scott's DNA. As a result he has taken travel to the max while all the time pursuing his first career giving big and little inventions motion and life with automation (think drones as the latest generation automation).

Scott was born in Rockford, Illinois, and raised in this mid-west small town during the early forties picking up his second state Wisconsin as a four year old on a family summer vacation complete with a log cabin, outhouse, and leeches stuck to feet from the nearby serene lake.

In 1946 he migrated west to Santa Barbara with his family and enjoyed his Tom Sawyer days in the lush California sun and Pacific Ocean surf very far away from six foot high snow drifts.

That trip west across farm land, barren Indian territories, and cactus studded high desert added seven states to the first two gifting him with nine very different states by the age of six.

He crowned his collection of all 50 U.S. states by flying to Alaska in 2008 with his two grown daughters in tow. The three stared in wonder at the base of Mt. McKinley while a local mother bear shooed her twin cubs along and the magnificent peak known as Denali to the Athabaskan Natives and climbing aficionados seemed close enough to walk up. During this era with his nomadic ways, Scott added seven countries on three different continents to his growing list.

After thirty years of exciting worldwide automation design-build projects with results such as manufacturing baby whole carrots from full grown carrots for grocery shelves, pumping 100,000 barrels of crude oil from production leases to processing plants, and purifying ground water for use in manufacturing Prozac, Scott called on his love of travel, partiality to Mark Twain's writings, and the simple joy of Norman Rockwell' Saturday Evening Post covers to birth his third career in 1992.

He turned his exploring to creative fictional musing based on his many thousands of hours and miles of life traveled out and about the fringes.

Scott now relishes writing inspirational fiction novels his readers can grow from and work out difficult situations in their own lives. His first two published tomes, compilations of short stories entitled Nine Lives, Nine Loves, and Angels amongst Us, are in printed book form for sale at Amazon on the web. He has just posted a third works, his first Kindle eBook, Awakening in Newcastle -Graysville Landing- a fascinating two volume, full length novel of rejuvenation and romance. This eBook gelled for Scott from his many years of travel and observation of unforgettable people and places, especially in San Francisco, in the Gold Rush Country of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and from owning and operating a Ghost Town Hotel in Virginia City, Nevada. The heart of this book was molded and solidified by his studies of Biblical principals and covenants that surfaced from his mid-life born-again experience.

Scott's fifth book is taking shape as an eBook entitled Encouraging Words as offered by Jesus during His 33 years on Earth and relived through the eyes of twenty-two modern-day fellow travelers. His plans for 2015 include creating eBook editions for his first two short story books so that six months down the road he will have five Kindle eBooks up on Amazon.
