John Cousin

Thanks for your interest in my work! My name is John Cousin and I was born in Covington, Louisiana, and raised in Lacombe and Mandeville, Louisiana respectively. I've been writing since the age of 14. A short play that I wrote, with an anti-smoking theme, was videotaped, starring myself and several classmates. It was submitted to and selected by the American Cancer Society. The video was awarded first prize, beating out several other junior high schools in the region.

I published my first collection of short stories, "Calculated Decisions", in 2011, which has since been downloaded/purchased by readers worldwide. Amazon/Kindle has helped me a great deal to realize my vision of bringing my story ideas to life and releasing them to the public as I see fit.
