Elizabeth is a storyteller,
a truth seeker,
a grace giver,
beauty beholder,
and a word weaver.
Her passion is journeying with others from splashing in the shallow waters of this world to diving into deep truth and real community.
She does so with her words, both written and spoken.
Sometimes that looks like a conversation over coffee,
or weekly meetings with women in her living room,
or with a microphone strapped on her head in an auditorium full of people.
Regardless of the setting, Elizabeth’s deep desire is to connect with others and connect them back to God.
Elizabeth’s authentic teaching style draws from her personal experiences, her educational background in psychology, her many years of working in the local church, and her passion for helping others to discover gifts of grace in the everyday.
Most importantly, Elizabeth is wife to Joey and mama to Lucy and Oliver. She routinely chooses to read a book rather than put away laundry and visit with friends rather than do the grocery shopping. This makes her a terrible housekeeper and an average cook, but her people love her anyway. She may have dirty dishes piled in her kitchen sink but you’ll always find fresh flowers on her windowsill.
The Maxons make their home on the edge of the woods in the quaint college town of Clemson, South Carolina. Together they are one branch on a very complicated, but beautiful family tree.
