Michael Locke

Michael Locke is a long-time resident of Southern California. He served on the first Silver Lake Neighborhood Council as Region 1 Representative and was Founder of the Silver Lake Beautification Committee. He has been writing about Silver Lake since 2003, as Editor and Publisher of "The Silver Lake News", an online community newspaper. He is also a regular contributing writer for the Los Feliz Ledger, the Los Feliz Observer and the Los Angeles City Historical Society Newsletter. An avid photographer and history buff, he lives in the Durex Model Home (Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument #1025) in Los Feliz with his wife Donna Jean. He is a partner with the real estate firm, Deasy Penner & Partners.
