Shae Hamrick

Shae is a US Army veteran born in Kansas, raised in Oklahoma, and transplanted in Texas. Her husband and children keep her active and busy with school and events. The focus of her working career has been in the electronics and telecom industries for thirty years. But writing and creating stories have always been apart of her life. Reading is one of her favorite pastimes.

Her mission is to write stories that show Godly character in action through the lives of her characters.

She is enthralled with the medieval time period and many of her stories tend to be speculative, what-if’s in a medieval land of her own creation. She also loves space travel and future speculation, so enjoys writing SciFi and Fantasy as well. Her recent endeavors have included short stories in multiple genres and themes with three published in Giant Tales Anthologies.

Non-Fiction is also part of her repertory, having several articles in The Christian Pulse - For Her section. She has also written several pieces for church and friends. Other non-fictions works include technical articles, operating procedures, and product brochures for various customers and employers.

She is a member of the American Christian Writers, the American Christian Fiction Writers, and North Texas Christian Writers. She attended ITT Technical Institute, the Texas Christian University, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Texas at Arlington.
