Matthew Werner

Matthew A. Werner grew up twenty-five miles south of Lake Michigan on a farm in Union Mills, Indiana, an area that has inspired much of his writing. He has written stories of northern Indiana's people, places, and history. Werner is the author of five books: the award-winning, "Season of Upsets," "How Sweet It Is," "A White Sox Life," "Dispatches from a Northern Hoosier," and the children's book, "The Patch Players.
