Teri Meehan

Teri Meehan, born and raised in an inner city neighborhood in Philadelphia, PA is co-owner and primary founder 
of Wash Perk Coffee House in Denver, CO. A graduate 
of Villanova University School of Nursing, she was an oncology nurse and certified massage therapist until age 41. It was then that she happened upon a space for rent in her West Washington Park neighborhood that seemed like it should be a comfortable place with great coffee. With the decision to leap into the world of small business Teri began an unexpected education in life, business management and community engagement. Since 2008 she has owned Wash Perk with her partner, Debbi Main, and continues “post-graduate” work in living her own life, while pursuing her love of writing.
